I think in doodles and colors, and love promoting the joy of creating.

Thank you for visiting my blog.

  1. Oh. Thank you Alan. I really appreciate that you took the time to stop and leave feedback. Drawing has always been my joy. It’s crazy that it took me so long to really get serious about journaling! Better late than never! 🙂 Stay creative!

  2. Thank you so much, Chris. I will look forward to seeing you here and interacting in the future. It is great to have a creative network to inspire and support. Thanks for taking time. Stay creative!

  4. I got one of your lovely patterns at the Leavenworth Quilt Shop the other day, and wanted to thank you for making such lovely, well organized patterns. I have recently purchased other patterns by other artists and yours are such a treat. Thank you.

  5. Good morning Ginnie. What a lovely thing for you to say. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such positive feedback. It makes me happy if those who find my patterns can enjoy their experience of creating something special. Happy stitching!

  6. Joyce Holzman Hanscom, I would be glad to discuss this further. If you would like to discuss this further, please send your email so we can chat privately. Thank you for kind words.

  7. Thank you Timi. I think I just fixed the issue with the closed comments. It was set to close after a certain number of days. Hopefully, it will be good now. Thank you so much for visiting and taking the time to leave feedback!

  8. Beautiful work and I like the idea of a sketchbook, but your work seems, to me, to be so much more than doodling. I have just started a diary, like your idea of a sketchbook, of the time I am spending with an autistic, little boy, time spent drawing which he loves, but the best artwork I can do is very quick sketches; he is hardly ever still. I am envious of your patiently built up drawings and this is inspiring to me. Thank you.

  9. Blessings to you for working with such a special little boy. It is so wonderful that he likes to draw! Drawing expresses your feelings, like handwriting does. What you are doing is wonderful because you are communicating with this boy in a way he can relate to. Keep up the amazing work!

  10. Hi… I just found your blog today. I’d love to keep in touch and see more of what you’re up to. Is there a way to subscribe via email? Although I have a WordPress id, my blog is on Blogspot and I haven’t been very active on it lately. clairessketchbook.blogspot.com.

  11. Claire, Thank you for the positive feedback. I do not have the ability at this time to add an email subscription to my blog. Sorry. The next best option that I know of would be to bookmark my site. I used to be on blogspot, also and believe I had that option over there. But WordPress works a little differently. Maybe someday I will be able to add that option. Meanwhile, thank you again for stopping by and enjoying my journals. I will check out your site. Blessings.

  12. Sharon, thank you. I I have them in quilt shops. Do you have a local quilt shop that might be interested in carrying my patterns? Also, you can see photos of the pattern samples on Pinterest at Made.by.Fay (faypaints) under the Fay’s Patterns board. I could work something out with you personally, if you find something you would like to do. Thanks for contacting me.

  13. Dear Fay, when I hit “about” I was disappointed not to find out more about you, where you live, who you are, who your background is in art etc. Am I missing that somewhere? I have just fallen love with your blog and have tacked you on to my blog as a “blog I follow”. ginny stiles.blogspot.com.
I intend to learn from you big time!!! I sketch “almost daily” and am learning more about formats every day. Your work is amazing. And by the way, I am a CZT (certified Zentangle Teacher) as well. This is the “high road” in doodling!

  14. Haha! Thank you for checking my about page. No, you are not missing anything. When I started the blog I was not sure what to write there. I guess I should fill in a few details. One of the details is that I’m a born introvert, so even what I have posted feels to me like blatant exposure! Ha! I will try to fill in more of the blanks on that page. Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate it.
