Yellow-Rumped Warbler

I was very happy to finally get a close enough look at a little bird that has been making “chipping” sounds in the trees next to the house, to be able to identify it as a Yellow-Rumped Warbler. What a cute little bird! It eats insects and fruit, including waxy berries, which help it stay warm in colder climates.

  1. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Your rendering of the bird is lovely and I enjoy all the little things creeping around the page – as though they have fallen onto it. Your sketchbook is uplifting.

  2. Thank you Anne. When reading about the little birds I thought it would be fun to show some of the things they eat. I have enjoyed watching these birds. Thanks for enjoying them with me. ❤️

  3. I came to your site today because I ordered something from Etsy and it had this perfect little card made by you! It was like an extra gift in my order. I am slowly looking at your work and I am loving all that I see. I know I will come back again and again. It is all so joyful.
