Illustrating Summer in a “New” Sketchbook

I am starting a new sketchbook, which is really a very old sketchbook that had only a few pages used. It has Strathmore Aquarious II paper , 7.5″x7.5″, a little larger size than I have been using lately. It is nice to be able to work a little larger and have room to arrange several sketches over a spread. I am attempting a more relaxed approach and making fewer preliminary marks before diving in with ink. Also, I enjoy including commonplace book items such as quotes, notes or recipes.
